Career and College Promise (CCP) is available to any North Carolina high school student in grades 9-12 who meets the eligibility requirements.
You can choose from various College Transfer and Career and Technical Education pathways.

Why You Should Participate
- Registration and tuition are FREE.*
- You can receive high school and college credits for completed courses. Some courses can earn AP credits.
- Any College Transfer Pathway course you complete at Davidson-Davie with a grade of C or better will transfer to the 16 public universities in North Carolina and/or count toward completing a program at Davidson-Davie.
- As a CCP student, you have access to all Davidson-Davie Community College Campus and Student services such as the Library, Fitness Center, Campus Concerts, Athletic Events and more.
- College faculty teach all classes in the program.
- Don’t know what you want to do after you graduate high school? CCP can offer you a sneak peek into the career or field of study you’re considering. Maybe it’s a good fit and maybe it isn’t. Either way, you get college credit and you haven’t wasted any tuition money.
- You get to ease into college life and learn what it takes to be a college student, and how to get the most from your future college experience.
- You can transition directly from high school into your desired career or technical program – earning your associate’s degree sooner than expected!
- Career and Technical Education certificate programs can be completed while you’re in high school.
