Career & College Promise Eligibility Criteria
College Transfer
A qualified freshman or sophomore must meet the following criteria
- Be identified as gifted by:
- Local AIG plan in English/reading and math; or
- An approved aptitude and achievement test evidenced by a score between the 92nd -99th percentile
- Demonstrate college readiness on approved assessments in English, reading and math
- Receive the following recommendations:
- High school principal verifying maturity to enroll
- AIG Coordinator, if applicable
- Davidson-Davie’s Vice President, Student Affairs
- Written consent of the student’s parent/guardian
- Receive academic advising prior to enrollment in the program
A qualified junior or senior must meet the following criteria
- Have an unweighted high school GPA of 2.8 or higher
OR
- Demonstrate college readiness on approved assessments in English, reading and math
Career and Technical Education
A qualified freshman or sophomore must meet the following criteria
- Have passed Math I with a grade of “C” or better
- Scored a 3, 4 or 5 on the End of Course assessment (EOC) for Math I
- Scored a 3, 4, or 5 on the 8th grade End of Grade ELA assessment
- Have the recommendation of the high school principal
OR
- Have the recommendation of the high school principal; AND
- Demonstrate college readiness on approved assessments in English, reading and math
A qualified junior or senior must meet the following criteria
