A Safe and Nurturing Environment
The CDC believes in creating a safe and healthy learning environment that allows the teaching staff to help children develop as individuals in a group setting. The program is designed to promote physical, social/emotional, cognitive, and language development. Program goals are accomplished by providing a balanced program that includes both teacher-directed and child-directed learning experiences recognizing that children learn through active interaction with their environment.
Caring & Qualified Educators
The teacher’s role is to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote each child’s growth and development.
All staff members at the CDC:

Partnership & Respect
The CDC acknowledges the influence of family life on the development of young children. The program seeks to be responsive to families by working together with them toward the goal of nurturing children in a safe and healthy environment. Individual differences of children and families are respected and valued. The CDC believes in families and staff working together to promote lifelong learners.
