Accommodations
Obtaining accommodations is possible when you have a diagnosis that significantly limits you in your academics and is considered a disability. Accommodations need to be requested in advance to ensure that your accommodations are put in place before the first day of class. A Request for Accommodations form must be completed. Verification of your disability from a medical professional is required prior to obtaining accommodations and can be uploaded to the Request form. Your student ID will be requested on the Request Form (Accessibility Services can help locate your ID). You can email accessibility@davidsondavie.edu with any questions.
Please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page at the link below for instructions on how to have any accommodations implemented. Disability Services FAQs
**All accommodations must be in place before the class starts for Davidson-Davie staff to meet your needs for this class (as class turnaround time is short). If you had accommodations in the past, email accessibility@davidsondavie.edu to let them know that you want to renew for your new class, before every class that you decide to take in Continuing Education. We will make an effort to accommodate your needs; however, after a class has started it may be an undue burden and unreasonable to provide accommodations; therefore, your request may not be approved.
