April 10, 2023 – Two job fairs in the coming weeks will feature close to 70 companies ready to hire new workers, and Davidson-Davie Community College is inviting members of the public to participate if they are looking for work.
The first job fair will be held in the courtyard of the Davidson Campus (297 DCC Road, Thomasville) on April 12 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The second will be in the parking lot of the Community Building on the Davie Campus (1205 Salisbury Road, Mocksville) on April 20 during the same hours.
“The huge number of employers participating in this year’s job fair is just proof that there’s never been a better time to find a job,” said Keisha Jones, dean of student engagement and completion at the college. “As always, we are working hard at the college to connect our students and graduates to meaningful careers, and we hope the community will join us at this year’s job fairs as well.”
Employers come from a wide variety of industries. Prospective employees are encouraged to bring their resumes and their questions as they discover professional opportunities for a successful and satisfying future.
